I donate 50% of the profits from The Best Dog In The World to pet rescue organizations.
The main organization I support is Almost Home Foundation, because it is the organization I volunteer with and also the one where my family got one of our dogs.
I also make one-time donations to various pet rescue organizations as I hear about them. I will be listing some admirable organizations on this page. If you would like to suggest one, feel free to email me!

Almost Home Foundation, in Elk Grove Village, IL, provides shelter and training for, and seeks permanent homes for, homeless pets. They get a lot of their pets from high kill shelters and puppy mills.
Heartland Animal Shelter, in Northbrook, IL, finds homes for homeless pets, including those with special physical or medical needs. They also have a low cost spay and neuter clinic for the community.
Young At Heart Senior Pet Rescue, in Palatine, IL, finds homes for older pets (usually 7 and older) who are considered by many traditional shelters to be unadoptable. They work towards finding a home for each pet in their care. They are also working on creating a sanctuary where pets who don't get adopted can live out the rest of their days being cared for by staff, in a beautiful indoor-outdoor setting. Kind of like a retirement home for animals!
